Umme Laila Urmi attained both her B.Sc and MS degrees in Food and Nutrition from the University of Dhaka. Following her academic studies, she conducted her thesis on Obesity and food patterns. She also completed a clinical dietetics internship at BIRDEM General Hospital. Building on this foundation, she pursued further professional development through advanced courses in nutrition and dietetics offered by BIRDEM General Hospital and the Bangladesh Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition (BADN). Umme Laila Urmi is a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Dietitian with more than five years of experience in clinical nutrition, weight management, and customized dietary planning. She is skilled in delivering evidence-based nutrition counseling, promoting chronic disease prevention and implementing holistic approaches to overall wellness. She began her career as a Clinical Dietitian in September 2021 at Square Hospital. Since then, she has played a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through personalized nutritional interventions, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive integrated care.
